Admission commission information

Following documents are to be given by the applicants:

1. Passport with notarial translation to Russian

2. Higher Secondary Education Certificate which contains following subjects:

• Biology

• Chemistry

• Physics and mathematics

The equivalence certificate should be given, which confirms the equivalence of the educational certificate to Russian Higher Secondary Education. This procedure can be done in International Educational Programs Institute of Saint-Petersburg State Polutechnical University (metro Grazdanski Prospect). Applicants who couldn't undergo this procedure before their admission to the University, can perform it up to 31 of December of current year (during 1^st semester).

Equivalence procedure is not needed for educational documents given in Russian Federation (state accredited educational organizations) as well as in Belarus, Kazahstan, Kirgizstan and (except Higher education for postgraduate applicants) - Tadjikistan.

For applicants for postgraduate education the equivalence certificate is needed obligatory at the stage of invitation making  (except Diplomas, given by Russian Federation Higher Educational Organizations).

3. Preparatory Department Certificate (for applicants, who didn't study Russian in school)

4.Medical certificate with chest X-ray description

Order of application (for VISA REGIMEN COUNGRUES) - all countries excluding CIS, Baltic countries, Georgia and Turkmenistan also have VISA REGIMEN with Russian Federation. The agreements with Eurounion and Israel concern only short time entrance to Russia (mainly tourist programs). Students and postgraduates from these countries require visa.

Higher Secondary Education Certificate (incl.faxed and mailed variants) and passport with photo, and dates of issue and expiry are given to admission commission by applicant or its representative no later than 15 of July.  Also application should be given with the place of visa making (country and city where Russian consulate is present)

For applicants for postgraduate programs equivalence certificate of the Diploma and Supplement is obligatory,

Entrance to Russia is only by STUDY VISA made basing on the UNIVERSITY INVITATION ("study" - for faculties, "courses" - for Preparatory programs, "Stajirovka" - for postgraduate programs and "Aspirantura" for PhD and Doctor of Science programs.

The admission commission is performing the primary analysis of the document and makes decision about admission. The invitation making process takes 30-40 days. Invitation can be taken by the applicant or his representative in room № 2 (International Department).Invitation can be sent by express-mail in case of pre-payment of the delivery by the applicant (can be performed in the office of the express-mail services)

After entrance to Russia (no earlier than 20-23 of August) the applicant should come to the Admission commission in the Dean's Office. (room 8) with originals of all the documents

For preparatory departments documents for invitation can be presented:

• In case of 1-year program -up to 10. of September

• In case of 1,5 and 2 year program - up to 1 of February

CIS countries with NON-VISA REGIMEN

Chemistry

Biology

Classes start at September 1^st.
